CC Excursion Car

The Colorado Central Railroad and its
Georgetown Loop were famous tourist attractions known the world over.
To supplement their regular passenger cars and to provide a better
scenic view of the mountains, the CC rebuilt six of their 26'
flat cars into excursion cars. The roof and sides were supported by
either 12 or 16 stakes. Two benches were added that ran down the center
of the car. These cars were also used extensively on the DSP&P as
well as on the Greely, Salt Lake & Pacific. They also saw service
for weekend excursion trips to carry picnic parties into the high
country.
Our kit consists of laser-cut wood, Grandt Line parts and CCM brass hardware parts. Decals, couplers, figures, and trucks are not included. |
