DSP&P Tiffany Reefer

The Tiffany Summer and Winter Car was
one of the first cars built especially for refrigeration. The design
was used for both standard and narrow gauge transit of perishables.
It was characterized by a roof ice-pan and elaborate insulation. Air
circulation provided a uniform cool temperature. The South Park's
colorful cars were 27' long.
Our kit provides details such as brake rigging, coupler lift rods, correct door latch and hinges for as complete a model as you care to build. Decals, couplers, and trucks are not included. |
